QBE appoints new leader to drive growth in the Nordics region

Reporting to Chris Wallace, Executive Director of European Markets, Maths will be based in Stockholm and responsible for reshaping QBE’s property, casualty and specialty lines offering in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

Maths has a strong background in industry, beginning his career in sales for Swedish multinationals such as Saab Aircraft and Ericsson, prior to moving into financial lines insurance in both an underwriting and broking capacity.  He was most recently Chief Commercial Officer for Aon Sweden prior to taking on the role as Head of Major Accounts and ultimately Nordic Head of Financial Institutions.
