Technical expertise, customer-focused service and strategic risk management have established us as a market leader in the commercial motor sector.
We work closely with brokers to offer cover to motor fleets in the UK and Ireland for their legal liabilities to others, as well as own damage, if required.
Our underwriters are empowered to make decisions quickly and efficiently. No matter what your trade or size of business, we will work hard to understand your challenges and try to find a solution to meet your precise needs. Added to that, we are one of the few insurers that can support customers with non-conventional arrangements, such as captives. We also offer cross-class packages in the UK and Europe.
We’ve been providing Motor Fleet cover since 1927 and have a long history of working in close partnership with our customers. Our aim is to build a relationship that is more than an annual insurance contract; we look to provide ongoing support, such as help with budgeting for future insurance costs and effective risk management support.
Working to lower your risk – and your claims bill – is crucial, particularly in the motor sector where you are vulnerable to claims from third parties. Having an in-house Motor Risk Solutions team allows us to review your exposures and help you take practical steps to reduce them. We also share regular insights about best practices and emerging risks.
In the event of a claim, we are committed to reducing vehicle downtime, controlling repair and car hire costs, and minimising disruption to your business. Download our short guide to making a claim. If you need to make a claim, please tell us as soon as possible using the following contact details:

The Motor Insurers’ Bureau has developed the Motor Insurance Database (MID) to reduce the amount of uninsured driving in the UK. To comply with the rules, all Motor Fleet policyholders must provide certain vehicle information to the MID.
