QBE, the business insurer, has appointed Alistair Nappin as Head of Outward Reinsurance for its International Division.
Alistair joins from Munich Re where he is currently Head of Ceded Reinsurance and Chief Underwriting Officer of Underwriting Strategy for its Global Specialty Insurance division. He brings nearly 20 years of insurance experience to QBE.
In his new role, Alistair will be based in London and report to Stephanie Cryer, Chief Underwriting Officer, QBE International. He will be responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s reinsurance strategy in the UK, Europe and Asia. He joins early next year, subject to regulatory checks.
