QBE partners with Matrix iQ to deliver enhanced fleet risk management solutions

·       Technology platform provides fleet operators with real-time insights into driver trends

·       Partnership will allow QBE to offer more bespoke risk management advice

QBE has announced a strategic partnership with Matrix iQ, a leading provider of connected vehicle and behavioural data solutions.

Through this partnership, QBE customers will be able to access Matrix iQ’s technology-agnostic platform, which provides fleet operators with real-time insights into risk, driver behaviour and claims performance.

The new solution integrates with existing telematics systems and consolidates data—including claims information—into a single, customisable dashboard. Fleet managers can now access trend reports, benchmark performance against national averages, and make data-driven decisions to improve safety.

Jon Dye, Director of Underwriting, Motor for QBE Europe said: “Partnering with Matrix iQ allows us to offer our customers bespoke advice on managing their fleet risk and gives them valuable insight into driver trends and potential high-risk areas. This forms part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and delivering value beyond insurance.”

Dylan Taylor, Insurance Partnerships Manager at Matrix iQ, said: “I am delighted to be launching our partnership with QBE, who share our passion for innovation. Customers will now be presented with cutting-edge risk insights that will positively affect fleet management, road safety, environmental impact, and a service with longevity and value.”

Matrix iQ also includes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics, enabling fleet managers to track vehicle emissions and sustainability performance.

The platform is already being rolled out to selected QBE customers, with broader availability planned in the coming months.
