QBE Insurance Group Limited successfully executes US$400 million catastrophe bond with closing of Bridge Street Re Ltd. Series 2025-2 Notes

QBE Insurance Group Limited (“QBE Insurance Group”) announced today that it has successfully closed a new catastrophe bond through the issuance of the Series 2025-2 Class A Principal-at-Risk Variable Rate Notes by its Bridge Street Re Ltd. program (“Bridge Street Re”).

This is the second issuance of Notes for Bridge Street Re and provides QBE Insurance Group with 3-year $400 million of collateralised reinsurance protection for U.S. Named Storm, U.S. Earthquakes, Australia Earthquakes and New Zealand Earthquakes on an indemnity per occurrence basis.

The catastrophe bond was successfully closed on 29 December 2025.  Aon Securities LLC acted as Sole Structuring Agent and Sole Bookrunner for the deal. Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP acted as transaction counsel to QBE.
