QBE appoints Director of Canada

QBE has appointed Ben Hunter as Director of Canada.

Ben is currently Vice President, Head of Marine, Energy, Construction & Risk Services at Liberty Mutual Canada. He brings a wealth of experience of the Canadian insurance market to his new role, having previously held leadership roles in Travelers Canada and Chubb Insurance.

He joins in January 2022 and will report to Peter Burton, Executive Director, International Markets, QBE European Operations.  He takes over the role from Jamie Thompson who was appointed Director of Financial Lines, QBE European Operations in May this year.
