QIE RNICE Part VII Information
QBE Insurance (Europe) Limited (“QIE”) proposed to transfer certain Italian and Spanish medical malpractice policies to Reliance National Insurance Company (Europe) Limited (“Reliance”) by means of an insurance business transfer under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
The application was heard by the High Court of Justice of England and Wales on 15th November 2018 by Mr Justice Marcus Smith. The Court sanctioned the Scheme in the form attached to the Sealed Order below. The Italian and Spanish medical malpractice policies transferred to Reliance at 23:59 on 21st November 2018.
