New Rehabilitation panel launches this week

By Rosie Hewitt
Rehabilitation And Delegated Claims Manager

We are pleased to say that after a tremendous amount of work , our newEO rehabilitation panel comes into force this week. After a thorough and extensive review of the rehabilitation market, we selected three providers to deliver our suite of services: IPRS, Proclaim Care and Corpore-TTN.

This ties into our strategic vision of not only ensuring quality services to our customers and providing critical services to help injured people recover, but also in our drive for innovation and cost effectiveness. To ensure we are delivering the services our customers need, we will be proactively asking our customers on what they think of our services and apply learnings to our services based on this feedback.

In addition we have been focused on ensuring slick and simple referral processes for our claims handlers via on line portals – this  also directs claims handlers to our informative and interactive internet pages where they can find information on numerous injuries in addition to case studies. Soon to go live on our website will be best practice clinical guidelines on the most common injuries and treatments we see in claims – all will be available on our Injury Skeleton.

For now we have focussed on our internal claims but going forward,  the same referral portals will be available for external claims handlers and QBE’s legal panel to utilise.

Proclaim Care and Corpore-TTN have worked with QBE for a number of years with IPRS coming on board as a new panel provider. We are excited by the new panel – forming and continuing our close working partnerships to deliver quality and outcome driven services ranging from minor soft tissue injuries, to complex orthopaedic injuries and, catastrophic spinal injuries.
